A bustling community life is synonymous with the town of Port Hedland. Indulge your senses at the hand-crafted markets in the West End, experience the artistic side of the Pilbara through Indigenous, local and international exhibitions at the Courthouse Gallery, explore the workings of one of the world's largest iron ore producers with a tour of BHP Billiton Iron Ore or glimpse a rare natural wonder as our flat-back turtle hatchlings make their way for the first time to the Indian Ocean.

Reef walks with Shirley Slack-Smith

Shirley Slack-Smith from the WA Musuem will be leading the next reef walk, exploring our diverse ecosystems and all that nature has to offer.

This is for experienced walkers, or those who are physically active as you will be walking across slippery walks and deeper water. Bring appropriate footwear and a torch.
